 For people looking to migrate to Australia, this option is a bit mis-leading.

There does appear to be the system whereby Australian employers MIGHT search a databse to find skilled migrants -- who have already done their visa application.

But this does not always result in successful employment.

You might go to an Australian migration expo, and be told that the agent 'will put you on the skills matching database'.

This is actually the least a company can do, and something ASA does for it's clients, anyway.

For job-hunting, it's not the most realistic way.
